Pretty 360 Spa
After many comments from my fellow bloggers, I am changing the contents for Pretty 360 blog post. It seems to be that Pretty 360 is providing many different services to the consumer, however many have complained that they are trying to hard sell packages during their visit and does not honour their vouchers.

You may want to post your comments here as some of the consumers have mentioned that they are deleting comments from the facebook and not responding to their request for the refund.

As mentioned by some of the bloggers recently, they have since close down the facebook fan page for Pretty360 while they have open a new spa called Slender Matrix at Wheelock Place.

I would strongly advise not to buy anything from Pretty 360, even with some tempting discounted offer. there are dishonest people, who make business out of voucher deals but then refuse to honor fully the service or ask you to pay extra for it. my voucher indicated that the IPL was UNLIMITED, but then, actually it was limited to 12 sessions. the IPL machine was not performing, so if I really wanted to remove hair, I should pay extra for a machine that is really working. I hate to be fooled, and I will make sure that the world knows that those people are swindler until, they have to either stop their business or start giving honest services.

  2. Same here, strongly advise not to buy any package from them. Had a very terrible deaing with them. They offer different price to different people. Don't be conned. It's easy for them to fold up the business. I have a facial package with them. The previous beautician was expeienced but the new one , lack of experience, recommended to do peeling and my skin flared up after facial done. They are dishonest. They said they did not do any peeling! Push the responsibility away. Buy at your own risk! I'm gonna lodge a complain against them at www.case.org.sg

  3. Hi Melody, I think it is a wise choice that you allow the authority to do the work for you though it might be a slower process. It is hard to imagine someone that is advertising broadly across the island and yet doing things that are not honorable. But of course there are still good spa in Singapore which you can find in my other blog spot. Be sure to find the good ones ya.

  4. any one knows contact of pretty 360 owner? Spa and manager cheated me. They did hard selling and before I signed up, they didn't tell me no-refund policy. They did hard selling me by 2 ppl for 40 mins. They harassed me. I complained to manager. But she didn't take any action. I would like to talk to management.

    Thank you for your advice. Have heeded it, cancelled and got a refund for my voucher from the dealer. Was lucky this time round as the dealer was considerate to refund amount back to my card. Will be more cautious in the future!

Hi Mi Mi, Pretty360 is a cheating company, they made me signed a package paid by installment credit card plan but they did not give me the application form and kept with them over30 days then took money- total amount from my credit card and refused to return to the bank. The bank is supporting them even not following their bank term & conditions stated in the installment form, and making many fraud plays with them to deceived me. I suggest that if you got cheated by them, report Police and file a case with the Consumer Authority of Singapore. I had already made a Police report And filed a case with CASE because the bank is covering up for this cheating company and the cheating company refused to return the money. Be careful with Pretty360 they always use - "that must be miscommunication" to avoid answering your queries and cover up their fraud play.The Police and CASE have to stopped this company and Bank cheating consumer.

  10. I am also cheated by them!! They are selling me VPL facial packages 3 to 4 times the price that other salons are selling. Spoke to their manager about them overcharging me and she refused to do a cancellation for the transaction I have made. I will make a police report and call CASE today. I have also informed my credit card company to hold on the payment as I have having a dispute in a police case now.

  11. The story goes like this;

    I had my appointment booked for my 1st IPL Session with Pretty 360, today 12pm on 23/11/2013.

    Went there and was examined.

    The staff told me that my hair wasn't in a very good condition, thus suggested me to take a trial of another type of IPL (VPL) at the price of $188, then afterwhich, treatments will be better in the future.

    I agreed to the trial and paid $188 on the spot.
    After the trial, the staffs keep pushing me to buy their packages. Not mentioning anything about my next treatment from the voucher I bought.
    I've rejected them 6 times, despite them continuing pushing their packages!

    What's worse was, at the end I gave them $200 cash for the trial, they told me that their cash counter staff is not in, therefore doesn't have the key to open the safe box! And that they do not have enough cash to give me the change!

    I requested them to get a change of notes from their neighbors, but was told that all their neighbors DON'T USE CASH AT ALL, AND ALL OF THEM ONLY USE NETS/CREDIT CARDS.

    Hello!? what kind of answer is this? Doesn't have a $12 change at all?

    I did not bring my cards therefore I paid in cash, this is what I told them.
    Instead of giving me back the change from their own pocket, they demand me to top-up and additional of $16 for a voucher of nails treatment, because they have no change at all.

    I topped-up the $16 just to shut them up, and wanting to leave ASAP.
    I am already damn pissed off.
    But this is not the end.
    Receipt was written and pass it to me.
    Before I left, I requested to have my voucher back as I have not used it.
    To my horror, they told me NO, as they need it for recording purposes.
    Hey! I paid a total of $216 just for the trial today, and the voucher was not even used!
    And I can't get it back????

    So, I had therefore paid $254 in total (trial + nail voucher + deal voucher).

    I'm writing in to demand it back as this is way too unreasonable. Else, I'll sue the company for such cheats and unacceptable customer services!

    As a customer, I believe every sales person must bear this in mind:
    When you've tried your luck in selling your products to the customer 3 times and have already gotten 3 times rejections (regardless of any reason), you should stop it already. Your customer MIGHT come back after that.
    But if you still continued despite all the rejections, you'll only get unhappy, unpleasant, pissed-off customer, AND back customer services in the end. NOT FORGETTING that your customer WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN!

      You mean after you paid the money, THEN you realised she cheated you? Or you knew from the very beginning but you still paid the money anyway?

  12. if only i've visited this page before i went for my streetdeal session at pretty 360. i bought the deal at $118 for 1 yr unlimited sessions with unlimited shot brazillian ipl. upon checking out my hair growth, the consultant told me i CANNOT do ipl, said ipl aren't not just for anybody... because my hair is thick so ipl won't work? highly recommended that i take VPL instead, claiming VPL is safer (mumbling about ipl not safe for womb?), and will only feel warm sensation and no pain etc. initially claimed their package of 12 sessions is very cheap, 1 to 2 k only... but after that said usual price is over 6k, but give me 50% discount (don't know why so good) so was charged 3k (excluding taxes) for it.
    turn out, VPL is also painful like IPL lor, felt like they were using elastic bands to flick me down there. plus, i've came across more than 1 review on STRIP brazillian IPL that they're really painless.
    now i just wanna find out if i've been overcharged (since some bloggers claimed pretty 360 overcharged them) for my brazillian VPL. any ladies can give me some advice?

I'm sry I didn't post my comment online early because my English not that good and I am lzy but I always wanted let others females know that the salon really don't patron. I still see they posted a lot deals in local deal web site. Sometime without stated their salon name on the deal header. I bought one of the underarm IPL $99 voucher I think on year 2011. I also singed up for half leg IPL $800 which they claim suppose thousand over dollars usually. After I completed I think 10 session it doesn't effect at all. The growing hair rate also doesn't slow. It grow like normal rate. I spoke to their manager name Angela. She is the i signed the package with. Now her attitude was change and told me some ppl even 14 times also not effective. It different from what she told me when i signed up. When i went for my last session of leg IPL treatment i forgot to bring blazer that they give me. (one blazer would be given, to bring each time IPL treatment else you have to pay $10) i asked the beautician can waive the $10, she approached Angela replied was NO. So i paid for it. I did before IPL at JEAN yip ot others beauty salon, one time only the hair grow may be 2 weeks later slowly, but this leg IPL totally not effective. It's wasted of my $800. I feeckback to Angela but her attitude really 360 changed. Suit their shop name. THe beautician there are not professional, i am agree. They did not satitise my underarm before applying the IPL gel to do with the machine every time which make me discomfort. They claim don have to sanitise. But others salon i visited they did. MY underarm IPL ( voucher $99) expire i didn't complete all session. Did i go punctually? I go almost every month, there is once , yes two mths interval. They use this as excuses that's y my treatment nor work. underarm IPL it work a little, the growing rate seems slow a little but the leg IPL totally not working. I did my facial since year 10 years ago and i had been patron many beauty spa and salon. This beauty salon, the way they doing business can't last long in Spore.I advise those already signed up package with them, can't get back your $, try push them for result, prove to you. I am regret i didn't do that last time. wasted $800.

    1. not sure if they're using lousy machine or what, but their consultant are either lying through their teeth to cheat our money, or they are really not well trained and not knowledgeable. I've checked with Musee's consultant myself and Strips (through an acquaintance) about Pretty 360's claims of my hair growth being too thick so I cannot do IPL. WRONG. IPL is not limited by hair thickness, but by hair colour and skin pigmentation. IPL is not safe to do inner region for Brazilian. WRONG. They can do it at both Strips and Musee. VPL is painless, only warming sensation. WRONG, it's like flicking elastic band at me. Called them up earlier today at 6pm and asked to speak to the consultant because I wanna clarify something, and was told the consultant has knocked off. Err, that day when my appt was at 630 and my treatment ended at 8 plus, she is still there lor.... thinking if i should just forget about confronting them direct and just go ahead and pay CASE to step in....

    1. indeed, but sadly it isn't the case. we need to pay to join their membership, plus to add on an admin fee (depending on how much claims we intend to pursue) before they will step in to settle for us. and mind you, it's not a guaranteed success even if you go through CASE. oh, and i thought I saw that they're now even gst registered. =.="

  18. To all ladies here and who wanted to purchase any package with this company Pretty360. I had a horrible experienced, was cheated by this company and I would like to warn all of you to beware before you even want to step into this place for any so call ”beauty” treatments it will end up to a horror nightmare. Never reveal your credit card details and ID card to his company or sign any credit card receipt, because I was like others bought a massage voucher with deals and went for one time treatment, although the massage was ok but the service from masseuse was a little rude, like the face towel dropped on the floor when I face down for her to massage she did not pick up for me and walked out of the room for pause. When she completed the massage I said thank you to her she just gave me a stunt face. Later, the main Big Monstress devil come like a big bad wolf smiling to me, her name is “ANGELA” their so call “skin Specialist” she pushing me to buy a package with them, she pretended to be friendly and get you hook into her trap, she made me purchased the face and body massage package with her cost $1088, and she advised me to pay by credit card 12 months instalment plan. She provided all the forms and filled up all the forms and just made me signed on all of them. When I saw my credit card statement next month the full amount $1088 was drawn and I realised I got cheated, I called Angela they not answering my queries, she deliberately kept the instalment form I signed not sending to the bank, and withdraw full amount from my credit card and refused to return, and even later she called the DBX bank using my ID, Credit card data impersonated me to put through another instalment paying to their company. This DBX bank customer service officers are useless, they did not verify the caller even I had reported to them this was a dispute from merchant earlier, I asked dbX bank to freeze my credit card and they still put through transaction not made by me and supporting the cheating act from Pretty360. CASE was useless too, they are just taking money from consumer no sympathy for consumer who got cheated that is why all the cheating company has no fear on them and keep cheating consumer , CASE is just buying times for all this cheating company to drag the time until your case time is due for closed and you get nothing back or cancel the deal. CASE just collecting money from consumer and no power on telling the cheating company to stop even they know the company is cheating, not even helping consumer at all, so anybody want to go to CASE? I think don’t waste your time. I filed a court case after 3 months CASE drag my case and nothing happen and this Pretty360 just ignored CASE emails and calls. Angela admitted at the court she impersonated me calling DBX bank to make transaction with my credit card data, and she paid no respect to the Judge, that she went to the court late and got warning from the Judge. At last I won the case and the court order Pretty360 to return the money to me. So ladies if you get cheated by this company only solution is to collect all evidence and document and go to “Small Claims Tribunals” file for a court case if you want to get your money back. Good luck to you ladies still want to step in to this shop! Beware there is many WOLFS in there!

Meanwhile, though there wasn't anyone from Berishiok team has visited Pretty360, rumours or I would say complains about this spa has made their reputation pretty bad. The wondering part is how could this spa still sustain their business using the underhand methods to get consumers to buy packages. As you have mentioned earlier, you would still need to pay in order to file a report to CASE, which also seems pretty ridiculous since their aim is to help consumers...

She's at the new place to bring in new customers.Please don't get cheated by the same gang but different company. They always sell their super cheapskate package at various deal site and lure potential customers. Even their facebook page for pretty 360 seemed like gone with the wind. I think they closed it due to too many unfacvourable feedback. As a good company, I think that honest feedback from customers is very important for consumers.And they should reflect on their mistakes. By shutting down the facebook page, this only shows that they are trying to cover up their misdeeds. Shame on them. They do have facebook page for Slender matrix.

Slender matrix was the one she patronized. So scary, open another salon to cheat. Delete away old Facebook page and create a new one now to nobody can see past terrible feedback.

  24. Please be warned that now Pretty 360 is holding deal vouchers under the name AP SPA at Dhoby Ghaut.

    You may want to change this blog post title to AP SPA at Dhoby Ghaut so that customers are aware it is a fraudulent merchant (Pretty 360).

    I signed up for their 3 hour spa package, but my partner and I were constantly asked to add on extras.

    I was asked to add on a DNA Peeling facial for $28, but they charged me $128. When I said that I heard $28 (my partner heard that too) they said no, i agreed to $128 and there was three witness of their staff around me.

    I am deeply upset by their ethical code of conduct, and I will be writing to deal.com.sg about their this fraudulent merchant.

    They are not supposed to call themselves AP Spa when they are delivering the service and invoice under PRETTY 350 PTE LTD.

  27. Hi everyone, I have read your posts and would like to share my views as well. I have been frequenting Pretty 360 for about a year now and find their service to be really good, unlike what you have commented. Every time I visit them, I am greeted warmly by all staff. Everyone remembers my name and are really friendly. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated after my sessions with them. The beautician would assess the condition of my skin every visit, explains what is appropriate for my face and provide the treatment that best suits me. During the course of the treatment, the beautician would elaborate each step she takes and what she applies on my face, making me feel comfortable and relaxed.

    I might sound like I am defending them but this is truly what I feel and I do feel your harsh comments to be unjust for them. Well, I would say most beauty salons would try to recommend you more of their services to enhance both their sales and trying to make you prettier. Isn't wanting to look better our initial intention of visiting beauty salons anyway..?

    At Pretty 360, they do suggest add-ons to me, too. That I wouldn't deny. However, I only agree to what I think is suitable and required for me while rejecting to take on what I think I can do without. I make them see my point and they are receptive.

    I have received their VPL treatment as well, experiencing very minimal pain. I believe the degree of discomfort really depends on the sensitivity of your skin..

    Whenever I visit, I see other patrons like me walking out of their place with no complaints. Given the fact that they have been around for awhile and are expanding their business, it shows that they have proven their worthiness and the pool of faithful customers, me inclusive supporting them is the best evidence that they are taking care of their customers well.

    I am writing only because I feel unjust for them. I hope that anyone reading this thread of comments will not only focus on the negative feedback and be skeptical of them (the beauty salon) just based on what you read....

    I am worse, same thing bought voucher for VPL and got scammed into signing 5k vpl package. So I tried to review my package the next day by half and they say they have a non refund policy. So after 10 day saga, I managed to get 900 bucks back, so I still have 4k plus with them for 24 sessions.
    Before I sign, they include this and that, after I sign they say they cannot include these parts. Thought of going to CASE too, but not sure if I have the time and energy to go through the whole thing.

  31. Pretty 360 has another salon by the name of MK. Face.Body.SPA. Only found out when I returned a missed call and saw the uniform of the therapist during the session. No doubt that the massage and facial is good, but the therapist asked at least 5 times if I want to top up this and that, to the extent it got really irritating and I wanted to tell her just do what is in the groupon, that's all. At the end of the session, they tried to sell their package as expected. They continued to hard sell even though I had told them I am not keen and need to go. Good thing is that I did not purchase any package, thanks to the comments here. Anyway the salon is quite small and not well maintained, not what I look for in a place for regular sessions.

  32. Went back for my 4th VPL session and they hard sell me to upgrade my package to a "membership" with a top up of $2000 to get "better products" and more sessions to use on my lower legs. Over the course of almost 1hr of pushing and me kept saying no like a broken record, they keep throwing in "freebies" to entice me. Extremely annoying that they are doing this when I'm practically naked underneath the gown they provided. Why all spa salons like to hard sell you at your most vulnerable (naked) times?

    1. Yes entice would be the exact word. I have nvr committed anything big and fooled into paying anything with credit card instalment plan. Not only I have to go through the hassle of fighting my case and get full refund, I was charged by the bank 6% for the Admin fee of instalment plan.

  33. Hi, if only I did my homework and read all these bad comments abt Face360, I would not have to go through this hassle.

    I would like to cancel the package 2 days aft signing the facial package but refused by the Spa. I filed my case to Small Claim Tribunal and I have gone through the 1st consultation. If there is no agreement achieved in our negotiation within these 2 weeks, both parties will proceed to 2nd consultation and last is the hearing. Very minimum payment to file ur case with SC Tribunal. CASE can't do much and takes longer to resolve the dispute.

  35. Last year I saw from online deal pretty 360 using another name to sell nail service, I don knw i almost wanted to buy. After checking, I knw it was pretty 360 I backed off. Because I was one of the customer singed aroud $800 for 10 sessions and not effective on Leg IPL and Angela said different words and her face and attitude was so different. Today July 10, I almost wanted to buy 3 hours massage plus facial from slender matrix $28 for 3 or 6 sessions.I read review from somewhere , it seem like new company of them at Wheelock place and online ppl said Angela is help to pulling sales. If anyone can confirm they both the same, I won't be patron and no matter Angela join which beauty salon, I also won't patron.

    &&& If you booking is at 2pm, please arrive 15 minutes earlier, as you will be vacated on time.
    Meaning..If you have an appointment for a 1-hr massage at 2pm, and you take 5 mins to shelf your bag, change your shoes, and get out of your clothes, these 5 mins will be taken out from your 1 hour, and should you have any discussion with the staff for clarifications, say,...another 5 mins, your session will be down to 50 mins because you need to vacate by 3pm from the room. Also remember that, it is a unisex place. There may a man next door. So please be careful not to go out of the room when you are not fully dressed.

I too was persuaded to sign the package in May/Jun. 2 weeks later when I went back for my massage, they tried to sell me a new package but I did not take up saying that I might consider only after I have completed the sessions. 1 month later when I went back for my facial, I was shocked to see the signage has been changed to "Haach". The staff from Haach assured me that there will be no change to the existing package that I have signed. Then I was brought to the facial room and the beautician after analysing my skin condition said that I'm not suitable to do the treatment that I have signed and tried to persuade me to top up so that she can do another treatment for me. I told her that I'll not top up any amount as this treatment was recommended by the previous beautician. She said perhaps my skin condition has changed and I told her that the assessment was done only 1 month ago so how can my skin condition changed so drastically? A manager came in and knowing my unhappiness over the matter, she said that she will do another treatment for me but I need not top up the package. After facial, I expressed my displeasure to the manager and told her that I felt short-changed. Today, I went back for my facial and this time another manager spoke to me. She said that they basically took over the unit but not the company thus they are not obliged to fulfil the full package. However, out of goodwill, they will provide me one last complimentary facial to close the case. Thou unhappy, I did not pursue further with her cos I know that I have no case as the package was not signed with them. After reading all the comments above, I find it very disturbing knowing that these people can just get away with this simply by registering a new company and relocating somewhere else and worst still continue to cheat more people. How can we put a stop to this?

  45. Hi, All, we cant put a stop to this, unless someone is willing to go to CASE.
    My case so far....I bought a 6x3hrs SPA from SLENDER MATRIX/ENSOGO, and during the first session, there were lots of problems, from wrong and shortened massage to loss of treatment, and bad service, plus hard selling. Afterwhich, I did not sign for the treatment done during that 1st session, and demanded a refund from ENSOGO, which they finally refunded me the balance of the 5 remaining sessions.

    Somehow, Slender Matrix was not informed and I was asked to go for another session, Session 2 but without facial. It was then that they explained to me that they HAVE BOUGHT over SLENDER MATRIX, and that they will TRY their best to fulfill the packages bought. NOT JUST THE UNIT, BUT THE LEFTOVER CUSTOMERS, PLUS OUTSTANDING PACKAGES, The manager said that she will get the previous owner to call me regards to the first session that I have, that call never came. 2 weeks later, they asked me to go down for my facial (for the second session). I just played along, and see what they had to say.

    It was at this point that they said that they don't have the licensed to do Massage, so they will upgrade my facial to one that is like double or triple the size without topping up. Meaning, if I still have the package, they will still owe me 4 times of facial only, no more massage. I agreed. Got my facial, and left. Better service.

    After this experience I went and look for JAMU Massage, and found MK Body & Spa. The staff and I had a shouting match over the phone, because she mixed up my appointments, and refused to do a proper scheduling until I apologize for "Forgetting" my "Actual" Appointment. I demanded a refund again but without success. Finally, someone managed to make an appointment for me at my preferred time. DO NOTE that my preferred time is weekday afternoon, which is impossible not to have slots. But each appointment need to be made 3 weeks in advance.
    During my first session, 60 min JAMU TUMMY....I left (After dressing, combing my hair, signing and drinking the goodbye tea- which was COLD red dates tea) 45 minutes after the session started. So, ...I lost...at least 20-25 mins?
    At the second session, I again lost 15-20 mins, not just because I left 10 mins before time, but after the scrub, the therapist went out and didn't come back, until after the manager finished trying to hard-sell me (Something from a top of S$48 reduced to S$28-student price) without success.
    The next session would be in November, hopefully they are still around then.

  46. After some considering, decide to not worth to claim against slender matrix as they legally transfer everything to Haach, further more slender matrix close down and was a empty shell company, left nothing,
    went back to Haach, accept their offer, no point argue with them anymore, just do their high end services, their service damn expensive, but quality was there, if my pocket allow, I might sign up haach package..
    Next time i would think twice, when i sign up for any beauty service package in singapore, maybe nothing more than 10session or $1k.

Was studying an Ensogo (deal.com.sg) 3hr Spa package deal for "3hr Spa Indulgence at MK.Face.Body.SPA" and decided to do a search as the S$22 deal seemed too good to be true. Sounds like it's a poorly run place and will be a stressful experience while they try to hard-sell you for 3hrs straight. Bullet dodged.

Dear friend I’m Steven, my case was, I brought a package with Slender Matrix, I balance 10 session, but when Haach took over, Haach asked me to top up $ or convert my existing 10 session to only 3, in-order for me to continue utilized my package, I refuse both offer, Haach asked me go Small Claim Court sue slender matrix, at Small Claim Court I meet up with sale manager Charlene , she explained that slender matrix can’t sustain further operation due to poor businesses , they officially transfer every things to Haach on 29 July 2015, so existing customers can continue utilized their balance package at Haach, but didn’t expect Haach collected top up fee or convert customers session, she sincerely helped me by providing the agreement signed between Haach and slender matrix, she said to me slender matrix transferred everything to Haach , currently was a empty shell company, if small claim court awarded me win, I also cant get anything back, I even lost my balance three session Haach going to do for me, she hope I could use the agreements to re-negotiate with Haach, so I took her advise , I temporary drop the claim against slender matrix, I went back to Haach again with the agreements, I had a long meeting with the management, I was offered a much better deal this time, I give in abit and accepted the offer, I think Haach don’t wish to affect their reputation after all they are running services businesses, anyway if haach continue to provide me with good services, I will purchase their other services too..

  54. I just got back from MK Face Body Spa. I bought the voucher from Deal for the 3 hrs spa and facial. Let me summarize my experience with them.

    1. They are utterly rubbish
    2. They will throw you to 3 other shops at the same building
    3. There are more than 5 ppl handling my 3 hrs session with them
    4. The waiting time from the moment I filled in the form, facial, massage and tummy mask (I skipped the tummy mask because I cannot wait anymore) was about 1 hr.

    5. They will die if they dont sell any package so thats why they are so hard core
    6. They are good for you to snap at them because apparently they took no offence and keep asking to sign the package again

    7. During the facial, they will keep talking and ask you to top up this and that. And after you topped up 1 thing. They will ask you to top up another thing. The same for the massage and tummy mask

    8. Have I say they are utterly rubbish?

    I see that you were too affected by this shop too.

    Firstly, let me share with you why a grown man is writing to you on a shop that essentially serves majority of female clientele. I wanted to treat my old mum, senior citizen old, to some relaxation, so I got her this 3x spa package deal as attached. Like many others like yourself, when she was there they did some basic facial, gave excuses that other things cannot be done and started force-selling. One sitting, one blocking the doorway so she cannot leave and kept repeating the sale to her for almost 1.5hrs until late into the night. In the end, she gave up and handed over her credit card. They promised her things like 0% interest-free installment plan with no processing fee, but in the end, we were billed the whole lump sum. It was supposed to be treat but turned out to be a horror show and I feel like the idiot who essentially put his own mother through this ordeal. I cannot explain how angry and upset I feel right now. How would you feel? Do you understand what I mean?

    This shop behaved like the female-version of Jover Chew, ex-Mobile Air owner. The male-version is very obvious. They are rude, taunting, brashy, etc. The female-version, they smile and are overly-polite but refuse to budge and look at you like they are untouchable, or what are you going to do about it?

    If they are not guilty, why when I tried to verify when they say they will not do a refund, they start running away?

    They, in their replies, in their actions, were effectively laughing at me that I was powerless. If I did anything physical or damage their wares or furniture, I am at fault instead. So all I can do is this, try to reach out to all the people who (were being forced sold, hard-sell, blocked from leaving etc) had a bad experience at this shop, and there is quite a pool. Collectively, we have a voice and and can force action to be taken on errant shops like Pretty 360, and if enough attention is drawn to this matter, force action to course-correcting the business ethics of this industry, which on the long-run is beneficial for all consumers.

    I think there are quite a number of us who were affected. So there is definitely a case to be made here. I seek your strength to dare to stand up for our consumer rights and share with those affected to come forward as well.

    I call the police to make a report about their errant methods of doing business. But in a shop full of women and I am a man, I found myself surrounded by policemen, some with their arms cross like I was the aggressor. I AM THE VICTIM here. And instead the "manager" of the shop could turn things around and said I was harassing them and I was warn to leave them alone. But my money paid cannot be solved. I made a police report and end up made to feel like a perpetrator instead.

    1. My next step if the police cannot do anything is to report to CASE. And it is very likely that when 1 person reporting, the police cannot do anything. If it the grievance of a group, they have more muscle to act. Our good officers are doing their jobs but many times they are powerless to act. I have dealt with CASE before. In the end, if the vendor refuses to budge, there is nothing CASE can do. So the reality is despite the revision of Lemon Law http://singaporelegaladvice.com/law-articles/what-is-the-lemon-law/, in Singapore when errant sellers like Pretty 360 operate their business, the consumer is at a disadvantage and at risk. The fact that despite complaints dated as far back as 2011, they are still in operations until date proofs how ineffective the current consumer protection act really is.

      You suffered at their hands, so did others. So I seek your strength to dare to share, and stand up to voice out on this matter.

      Lastly, I really pity the staffs whose management force them to operate this way and hide behind their staffs when confronted.
      The staffs have been practicing business this way for so long that they are incorrigible, they are too far gone to realize what's wrong with they business practices. And all the "managers" or "consultants" that we were complaining to are employees only, powerless to make decisions. The real bosses are hiding behind like cowards. If this business, Pretty 360, fails, they will just close the company and re-label a new company to carry on. Please, for all our sakes, we cannot let this continue.

      sorry, have to step in to refute this. you should go try out their hardselling tactics. most of the time we "victims of hardsell" take up packages just because we want them to stop harassing us and let us leave the place. not because we like their treatments or whatsoever.
      i've ever met a horrible hardselling manager (not at pretty360 but another salon) who just reached into my bag, pulled out my wallet, passed my wallet to me and asked me to give her whichever card i intend to use. and no, i wasn't on any groupon or deals vouchers. at that time i was already a proper paying customer on a friggin ex package and yet these people are never satisfied, forever asking you to upgrade.

    2. Mia, exactly! I paid for 3 x 3 combo service. Admittedly, I bought it from deals.com.sg I have use those frequently for purchases and dining recently. So why should the experience for "beauty" line be any different I gather. Besides I am paying for it, not like its a free trial and I would understand that they are obligated to sell. But I paid for it upfront, I expected no selling. So is the rational now that "because its on discount" they have a right to sell? I don't mind paying as long as she enjoy, but she when there to be grilled, and surrendered her credit card just so she could leave. Hence, I am FURIOUS.

      So steven, indeed I am the lousy son to put my own mother through the hands of these evil witches. For that I will never stop fighting.   57. Sometimes, it is not just the "unknown" brands like Pretty360, Slender Matrix, Bottomslim, Victoria Facelift, Dorra which gets on our nerves. I have encountered some very irritating services from Asian Skin Solutions, London Weight Management (LWMS).
    I signed up for a trial package in 2013 at LWMS, and didn't go back to finish up until 2010, when my friend transferred her package to me. & i was made to pay a transfer fee of S$321 with a purchase of another package.).
    Then since then, I have managed to use some until this year January. I was reminded that I was left with 3x3 sessions. (I complete 3 sessions at one time) The consultant in charge of me sat me down without first putting me on a machine and chatted with me for half an hour to persuade me to sign a new package. I had to leave without finishing that session because I was going to be late for the next appointment. The next session I went, she put me on a machine and started selling me drinking products, home care products, and then another package, each without answering my questions on the recommended products and services, and carry on babbling for an extremely long time. I had to ask her to leave me alone to enjoy the treatment, and then she told me. That half hour treatment is finished, but she would add another 5 mins for me to "enjoy". After that, I decided not to go again, but file a complain up to headquarters. Sometimes, it is not the company, but the staff.
    In Asian Skin Solutions, I signed up for a 10 time, after the manager promised that everything is inside already, there wont be any additional needed, they wont hard sell me anything when I go for my treatments. I ended up complaining, because they did not let me sleep but kept talking and kept asking me to add stuff, and how wasteful, it is not to buy. After that, when I went for my #7 treatment, they came up with a new "powerful" treatment which is equivalent to 10 times of my present treatment. But out of goodwill, they will give it to me, if I am willing to change my last 4 times to the new treatment without top up. Fine, you don't want to see me, I also don't want to see you, so that's it, there goes Asian Skin Solutions, and even Beyond Beauty are off my list of Beauty Centers. So, best is. Don't sign a package. Just don't be bothered.

  58. From this incident, I start to feel sorry for women. This has totally been off my radar. Wanna look pretty, wanna be cost-conscious, end up meet this kind of black shop, suffer cannot tell anyone. Just suffer in silence. Totally powerless. The law protects this kind of black shop.
